Vertice receives the Great Gold Award at Catad’or 2019

Ventisquero Vertice shines once again. The 2016 vintage received a Great Gold Medal at Catad’or 2019, the most important international wine competition in Latin America held in Santiago, Chile.

This is the second recognition of Vertice in the last month. The 2014 vintage received 94 points from the prestigious American magazine Wine Enthusiast. The same magazine that in 2017 nominated Viña Ventisquero as one of the New World Vinyard of the Year “.

Ventisquero Vertice is a high-end Carmenere/Syrah born in “La Robleria” vineyard in the Apalta Valley (Colchagua). It is a blend that collects all the knowledge of winemakers Felipe Tosso and John Duval, Australian advisor to Viña Ventisquero.
