Viña Ventisquero is part of the new Association of “Viñas del Valle de San Antonio”

With the aim of becoming known at an international level as Chile’s premium wine valley, 8 vineyards joined together to create the “Association of San Antonio Valley Vineyards”. The valley covers 500 hectares, in which Viña Ventisquero participates with its “Las Terrazas de Leyda” vineyard.

The wines of San Antonio are characterized by the influence of the cold climate, the proximity they have to the sea and the soils with their particular minerality, since they were previously maritime soils, and a lower thermal oscillation.

The associated wineries produce a total of 100 thousand boxes of wines from this valley that they am to sell at a higher average price. The planted strains are coastal and cold weather varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Syrah. In addition, all the wines of this valley are certified as organic.
