Veraison process begins in Viña Ventisquero valleys

In the midst of the growing season, our vineyards have already undergone the very important vine processes of flowering and fruit set. Flowers have bloomed, the vine concentrated its energy on fertilization and berries formed. Now begins the veraison process (the grape berries change color).

Due to very healthy year in phytosanitary terms, at this point a high quality vintage is expected for all our valleys. In the words of our head winemaker, Felipe Tosso, “So far, this year looks normal and high quality.”

After veraison, comes the ripening period which will occur during the rest of January and February. This stage will be crucial to the ripening of the grapes.

2019 looks like it will be a great harvest!
