Vintage 2018: one of the best of the decade

We are already experiencing fall in our vineyards. It is a special time of year to reflect on the harvest and think ahead to the next growing season.

“Everything that happened this year was very balanced and calm. We believe that this has been one of the best harvests of the decade,” says Sergio Hormazábal, Head Viticulturist at Viña Ventisquero.

At the beginning of spring, the viticulture team realized right away that the cool temperatures would result in an exceptional quality for the end product.

Felipe Tosso, Head Winemaker at Viña Ventisquero, explains that this harvest has produced fresh, very aromatic, well-structured wines with good acidity.
