Viña Ventisquero attends Premium Tasting Chile 2018 with Tara White Wine 1 and Enclave

On Thursday 24 May, the largest blind tasting event in South America took place in Chile, the Premium Tasting Chile. During the event, 33 Chilean wineries presented their best wines to 350 participants who then blind tasted all of the wines.

Viña Ventisquero, however, presented two of their wines: Tara White Wine 1 2015, a faithful representation of the Atacama Desert with mineral and fruity notes that lend structure to the wine, making it one of the special selections of the winery. The other wine presented was Enclave 2013, a Cabernet Sauvignon from Pirque in Alto Maipo. It’s an elegant, well-structured wine with an attractive aromatic complexity.

The tasting was led by the only Master Sommelier in Latin America, Héctor Vergara, with Héctor Riquelme, selected Chile’s Best Sommelier in 2005. The event took place at the Hotel Santiago (ex Hyatt), and Felipe Tosso and Alejandro Galaz presented Ventisquero’s wines.
