Ventisquero nominated for Wine Enthusiast’s New World Winery of the Year Award

The winery stands out particularly for the quality of its wines and its innovative processes and places of origin

Every year, the team at Wine Enthusiast Magazine, a US-based wine journal with editors from the United States, the UK, France and Italy, honours the individuals and companies that made outstanding achievements over the past year in the wine and alcoholic beverage world.

In 2017, the only Chilean nominee is Viña Ventisquero, which has been selected as one of the five “New World Wineries of the Year”. The winery stands out particularly for the quality of its wines, innovation and its good performance abroad and has particularly been recognized for its Tara project in the Atacama Desert and its capacity to create wines that faithfully represent their origins.

The winery’s nomination demonstrates the international presence and recognition Ventisquero has achieved around the world. For instance, Viña Ventisquero will be present at the upcoming “Great Wines of the Andes” walkaround tasting events in New York, Miami and San Francisco led by renowned wine critic James Suckling. Viña Ventisquero has also been invited to take part in the prestigious and exclusive “Matter of Taste” events organized by Robert Parker (The Wine Advocate) in New York and Singapore.
