Land of great Pinot Noir. This property located in Casablanca valley is one of Chile’s premium valleys for cool-climate varieties, just 25 kms from the cold Pacific Ocean. The vines are drip-irrigated, with water from wells which are 40 to 70 meters deep. At full production, yields of 8 tonnes per hectare can be expected.

CLIMATE
Strong coastal influence, mainly in the afternoons with winter temperatures averaging a minimum of 2°C and a maximum of 15°C and summer temperatures ranging from a minimum of 11°C to a maximum of 25° C on average.
SOILS
The soils are red clay on the top and then a granitic decomposed type of soil, rich in quartz and iron. The pH is slightly acidic, between 6 and 7 - Organic material content is 1.5% – 2.5%.
RAINFALLS
360 mm per year. The rain falls mainly between May and September.
