The home of our premium wines, located only 7km from the Pacific ocean and with an intense coastal influence. 97 hectares are drip-irrigated with water from the River Maipo. Production averages 6 tonnes per hectare, and the vines are trained along a VSP system.

CLIMATE

CLIMATE
Moderate to warm climate with a long dry season. Very cloudy in winter and summer. The thermal range is low, with a difference of just 5°C to 6°C between the warmest and coolest months. This is influenced by the vineyard's proximity to the coast. In winter, the average minimum temperature is 8°C and the maximum is 14°C. In summer, the temperatures range between 12°C and 25°C

SOILS

SOILS
There are different terraces of alluvial origin, with granitic soils in the upper part of the field or first terrace. In the middle part there are soils of marine origin with clays at different levels mixed with gravel. In the lower part of the field there are soils of alluvial origin. Textures range from loam to clay loam.

The annual average rainfall is 350mm-400 mm, which mainly falls between May and August.

Ubicación

The property is located 115 km from Santiago. The north-western limit is 7.5 km from the sea and, at its farthest point, the property is 9 km from the Pacific Ocean. The property is located in the San Antonio valley and its proximity to the sea means that it has a significant maritime influence. Part of its geomorphology is influenced by the River Maipo, which passes through the lower limit of the property.
